"Tunza" is delighted and proud to announce a charity partnership with the brilliant Park Inn, St. Helens premier Hotel, which will see them support the work of Tunza's Pride through 2012.
The staff at The Park Inn are already planning several events ...and initiatives starting with some of the staff taking on the challenge of running the St Helens 10K in aid of "Tunza" - a 24 Hour Sponsored Challenge at the hotel, plus we have a joint event happening on Sunday 20th May... "Wild West Family Day"

Tunza's Pride are looking for runners to sign up and support local children at the same time - by choosing to support "Tunza" you will be helping us provide vital projects to vulnerable children in the town.
The event is on Sunday 11th March and starts and finishes at Saints New Stadium at Langtree Park.
Every one of our runners will receive a "Team Tunza" running shirt.....all we ask is that you aim to raise at least £50 in sponsorship - all sponsor form are provided !

Run Wild for Team Tunza !
Once again Tunza's Pride has been chosen as one of the official charities who are to benefit from next year's St Helens 10K - organised by The Steve Prescott Foundation.
The event will take place on Sunday 11th March 2012 and will take in a new route - starting outside the Saints New Langtree Park Stadium, over the new connecting bridge and into the town centre - up North Road and around Victoria Park (just the once this year) - then back through town and finishing with a lap of the pitch inside the Stadium.
This exciting run aims to attract over 1000 runners next year and Tunza is hoping to recruit at least 50 runners this time.
To register, visit www.sthelens10krun.org.uk and choose Tunza's Pride from the drop down list as the charity you wish to support. We'll then receive a message from the organisers and
Tunza will then contact you and offer advice and ways of obtaining sponsorship money - we are looking at anything between £25-£50 ideally but the more the merrier !
All Team Tunza runners will receive a certificate of achievement along with an invitation to our very own party the weekend after the run !!!

The Fire Ball - Our hottest event so far!!!
The Park Inn Hotel once again hosted our annual fundraising dinner dance this year, The Fire Ball and what a night we had - our best ever Ball by a mile !

The night started off in style with a fantastic dance show by Alice, Becky and the Tunza supported 'YC Street Crew'. That was followed by a brilliant live Disco Inferno act by The Team Tunza Entertainers.
The evening raised £3,000 for local causes and we would like to thank everyone behind the scenes for the unbelievable support.
Thanks also to everyone who attended and once again put their hands in their pockets to raise such a fantastic amount !
We are going to have to go some to beat this year's event but plans are already in place to try and do so - next year's event date will be published in the New Year !
